Why We're Telling Everyone About Make New Traditions: Live
Something is happening in London this October, and we think every couple we work with should know about it.
On Sunday 4 October 2026, Make New Traditions: Live takes place at Kachette, Old Street, Shoreditch - and it is not a wedding fair. We want to be really clear about that, because the difference matters.
What MNT: Live Actually Is
Make New Traditions has been one of the UK's most respected independent wedding platforms for nearly a decade. Built for couples who are doing things their own way — modern, stylish, intentional weddings that actually look and feel like the people getting married - MNT has always been about curation over volume, quality over quantity.
MNT: Live is that ethos in physical form. A single day, a single venue, designed around the couple's experience rather than the industry's convenience.
The day is structured in three distinct phases. It opens with a celebration of the engagement itself, a moment that too often gets swallowed by the planning anxiety that follows, before moving into a curated showcase of around 30 of the most talented independent wedding businesses in the country. These aren't suppliers who paid for a table. Every single one has been personally selected by the MNT team. Categories are deliberately capped, so the room is genuinely balanced. Not wall-to-wall photographers with a florist tucked in the corner.
The day closes with something genuinely unusual: a fully realised wedding day installation. Not a mood board. Not a styling vignette. An immersive experience you can walk into, feel, and use as a reference point for your own day, before it's your turn.
Panel talks and workshops run throughout, designed to leave couples feeling energised rather than overwhelmed.

Why Kachette
If you haven't been to Kachette, it's worth knowing what kind of space it is. A former railway station in the heart of Shoreditch, it has exposed brick, beautiful natural light, and the kind of atmosphere that makes an event feel considered before it's even started. It's the sort of venue that makes couples realise what's possible, and it's the space MNT has called home since 2023.
Who It's For
MNT: Live is for couples who already know they want something personal and aren't quite sure yet what that looks like. It's for anyone who feels slightly disconnected from the mainstream wedding market, the couples who want every detail to be intentional, who'd rather meet ten suppliers who are genuinely brilliant than wade through a hundred who are fine.
It's LGBTQ+ friendly, inclusive by design, and built for couples who want to feel like participants in their wedding planning rather than consumers of it.

How to Get Tickets
This is an intimate event with limited capacity by design, which means tickets go quickly. Presale tickets are available exclusively to the waitlist from 28 June to 1 July, the only way to secure your spot at the best price before they open to the public.
If you're planning a wedding and want to be in that room, the smartest thing you can do right now is get on the list.
