ABOUT OUR PARTNERSHIP
To celebrate Giving Tuesday, the biggest day of giving on 3rd December, Rewritten is supporting women affected by conflict by raising funds for Women for Women International. Donate £5 today to unlock 10% off your next order, and your donation will help a woman lift herself out of poverty. As a female-founded business, Rewritten is passionate about providing the opportunity for other women to gain the skills they need to build brighter futures for themselves.

When war and insecurity take hold, women bear the heaviest burden of violence, poverty and inequality. Women for Women International invests where inequality is greatest by helping women who are forgotten: the women survivors of war and conflict. Since 1993, the charity has invested in the power of over 579,000 women across 17 conflict-affected countries.

The charity’s flagship Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme builds women’s capabilities in four key areas: earning and savings; rights and decision-making; health and wellness; and fostering support networks. Women receive hands-on vocational training in a variety of sectors and are supported to start small businesses, build networks, and to take on leadership roles in their communities.

Women chosen for the programme have faced immense hardships. They've lived in extreme poverty without any stable income, are socially isolated, and impacted by conflict in at least one of the following ways: losing a loved one, surviving violence, or forced to flee their homes.

Your donation today will help transform the lives of women like Grace in Nigeria, who enrolled on the programme in May 2023. You can read more about Grace’s journey here. She heard about the Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme during an announcement in church and decided to join. After graduating the programme, Grace shared:

“My confidence is at an all-time high right now, and I feel like I can take on the world if the need arises. I am proud to be a part of this programme and I will never forget what you have done for me”.

When women are given these tools and skills, they can transform their life, and it is thanks to supporters like you that this is possible.  That is the power of women, for women.
