Marketing and Social Media Executive

The Marketing and Social Media Executive will have day to day responsibility for running the social media channels for Rewritten Bridesmaids in addition to planning and execution of the digital communication strategy for the brand. This is an ideal role for an individual with digital marketing and social media experience who is looking to play a pivotal role in the growth of a dynamic young brand. We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, confident personality who will own their role in a dynamic, fast-paced and entrepreneurial atmosphere.  

The role is based at the brand Head Office in Hackney Wick.

Job specification

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy in order to increase followers and engagement
  • Create and implement the weekly social media plans, creating and communicating relevant content as a leader in the bridesmaids market
  • Writing copy for the Rewritten Bridesmaids and Bridal brand’s, in line with the Rewritten tone-of-voice
  • Manage the social media feeds, from content creation to partnerships and sales driving initiatives across the channels
  • Respond to direct messages and comments. Comment on other’s posts
  • Review analytics, creating reports on key metrics
  • Work on a partnership strategy, syncing with like-minded bridal/non bridal brands across digital platforms
  • Work closely with the founders to create a year long Marketing strategy with focus on events, key dates and initiatives
  • Assist with copy writing across the brands website
  • Plan and implement the email marketing strategy
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of events
  • Build on existing relationships with influencers and digital media outlets. Create new relationships with digital media leader and bridal influencers
  • Create a celebrity placement and influencer marketing programme for the brand, including product gifting
  • Work in tandem with the Freelance Digital Marketing Manager on advertising campaigns

The Candidate

  • 2-4 years experience in social media in a similar role
  • Digital and social media savvy with a strong sense of aesthetic and attention for detail
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • A strong understanding of cultural trends inclusive of fashion, media, music and art
  • Good existing relationships with influencers and digital media outlets
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, but small team, across multiple projects
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • A highly motivated, organised and extremely detail-oriented individual who shows great initiative
  • The ability to be hands on and also strategic
  • Proactive in seeking, identifying and developing new opportunities
  • Experience with relevant programmes such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and social planning platforms
