Rewritten used the Town Hall Hotel as a shoot location last year and we spent the day in awe of the venue and what it has to offer. Located in Bethnal Green, East London, there are different rooms and spaces available to hire depending on how many guests you have. Perhaps the most special and iconic space is the Council Chamber, where you can host your ceremony before moving down the corridor to the Bethnal Hall for your sit down Wedding breakfast, with enough space to party the night away (and no travelling to another venue!) The great thing is that your guests can also stay at the hotel before or after the wedding too.

Clapton Country Club is based in, you guessed it, Clapton, East London. Situated just by the Overground station, this venue is the perfect place for an urban yet glamorous wedding. Housed in an old Victorian horse drawn tram depot, packed with high ceilings, brick walls and metal beams, the Country Club will give you all of the old-fashioned romantic feels and contemporary cool in one hit.

Trinity Buoy Wharf offers two wedding venues, with our favourite being the Grade II listed building which has direct access to the pier (this makes for a great photo opportunity), but also means you could arrive to your wedding by boat! This brick walled, triple height ceiling, and just all round stunning venue bags so much character. The second smaller venue is just as beautiful, with a beautiful wooden beamed ceiling, it would make the perfect intimate setting for a smaller reception.

If you're looking for a venue full of history, character, and a with very rustic, ethereal feel, then the Asylum Chapel is the venue for you. Run by Maverick Projects, the guys took this Grade II listed building and turned it into Peckham's (and one of London's) most stunning location to tie the knot.

MC Motors is a large warehouse based in East London - full of character, this space has so much potential to be transformed into a beautiful wedding location. This industrial space has the most amazing skylight, allowing bags of natural light for a warm aesthetic. MC Motors have held many weddings, events, product launches and much more - they know what they are doing.
